About Me

I have a Bachelors and a Masters degree in mathematics from the University of Utah. I've taught in the public school system for both Grantsville and Tooele High Schools. I've taught many different math classes for Utah State University and Salt Lake Community College ranging from Intermediate Algebra to Differential Equations. I love teaching and also like computers so I also enjoy building and teaching online math classes, combo classroom and lab classes and regular face to face classes. This year I am teaching "flipped" classroom calculus.

I was raised in Cache Valley. I currently reside in South Jordan with my husband.  I have four kids. My oldest three are married so I also have two sons-in-law and daughter-in-law and two cute granddaughters and three cute grandsons with another grand child expected in July :) In my spare time (which I don't have much of teaching!) I enjoy skiing, crocheting and playing the piano and guitar. I also love four-wheeling and spending time with my family. Since my son was a ball boy for the Utah Jazz, he's turned me into a Jazz fan too!

My daughter did a College Internship as a character performer at Disney World so I now love Disney characters as well! Click here for a couple of fun Disney photos.

Math can be frustrating when problems don't seem to work out right but exciting and rewarding when they do. I'd like to help you have a rewarding experience.
